Operation Water Campus Ambassador Program
What is the Campus Ambassador Program?
The Operation Water Campus Ambassador Program (OWCAP) recruits students to help raise awareness of Operation Water’s mission and vision in universities and high schools across the globe.
Operation Water will collaborate with the ambassadors in coordinating and organising fundraisers, events and talks in their respective educational institutions.
Activities to promote
The structure of the Campus Ambassador Program will be twofold:
Activities determined by Operation Water. These must be performed to ensure that the ambassador program aligns itself with the mission and vision of Operation Water.
Activities decided by the ambassadors, following ambassador-led brainstorm sessions. Ambassadors can be creative in how they wish to deliver these activities. Proposals will be reviewed by the Operation Water Marketing Team, and can only be executed upon approval.
What we look for in an ambassador
A demonstrated passion for social entrepreneurship, poverty alleviation and sustainable development
Self-drive and the ability to work with minimal supervision or external motivation
Leadership and group coordination skills
Ambassadors, in collaboration with OW’s Marketing Team, will determine whether they want to work with a specific student club, or, if they would prefer to select a team of volunteers that would assist them in organising activities.
*Ambassador profiles will be featured on the Operation Water website.
