What Makes Us Different
What other organizations are doing to address the need…
While “water” is rightly a priority cause for many non-profit and non-governmental organizations, these organizations' approach has been centered on accepting individual donations to fund one-off projects. Moreover, the capital structure for funding these projects does not typically utilize debt. Accordingly, there is a capital constraint in funding larger systems which sustainably reach more people.
Most initiatives provide wells or gravity-fed pipes to villages in developing countries which support limited beneficiaries with often unsustainable solutions, despite the acute need in both rural and urban areas for piped water on premises, which are more effective, efficient, and sustainable than other water systems. In addition, maintenance is often overlooked following installation, as it is neither planned nor financially accounted for.
